WHAT: The Pain Relief Network is holding a news conference to speak out against the United States Department of Justice’s war on pain treating physicians. With non-opioid pain medicines proving to be deadly to patients in pain, Americans are crying out for safe and effective pain relief.

WHO: Siobhan Reynolds, Dr. Frank B. Fisher, Linda Paey (wife of imprisoned pain patient Richard Paey) and patients from across America.

WHY: As the U.S. Department of Justice asks Judge Wexler to sentence Dr. William Hurwitz to life in prison, patients and their families are coming together to speak out against the War On Doctors and to deliver a plea to President Bush to stop the madness.

Dr. Hurwitz will be sentenced Thursday April 14th at 11 a.m. at Judge Wexler’s Courtroom, United States District Court, Eastern District of Virginia, Alexandria Division, 401 Courthouse Square, Alexandria, Virginia
